The Great Race is an annual event with over 100 Classic Cars from the early 1900s to 1972. This year's route brings these beautiful cars to Evanston, Wyoming!
The race starts in San Rafael, California and travels east, ultimately finishing in Moline, Illinois. After leaving the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah after lunch, Great Raers will cross the Great Salt Lake Desert for two hours toward Salt Lake City. Competition will take the teams on some awesome roads in eastern Utah and 20 miles across the state line of Wyoming to our wonderful town.
Once here, the Great Racers will join with the Evanston Car Cruise to put on one heck of a car show for Evanston residents! The venue will be at Railyards complex. The winning rally team for the day will be presented a trophy of representing the Salt Flats and the speed records set there through the years.
