    Name: American Veteran's Traveling Tribute
    Date: September 26, 2012 - September 30, 2012
    Event Description:

It is our honor to bring the "American Veteran's Traveling Tribute" to Uinta County.  The Traveling Tribute allows those without the means or ability to travel to our national memorial sites the opportunity to pay respect and share in the experience of honoring our heroes.  The beautiful replica offers a place for community members to pay respect.  The wall offers hands on education to our youth while building an awareness and appreciation of the sacrifices made by countless men and women in defense of freedom and the way of life they enjoy.  The cost of Freedom Tribute depicts the great sacrifices made throughout the history of our country.  With statistics of every war/conflict the USA has been involved in.  There are 58,267 names of those who were killed in Vietnam listed on the wall.  The AVTT includes a 9/11 tribute, the casualties at the Ft. Hood 2009 shooting, and the "Gold Dog Tag" display honoring members of the armed forces those who have fallen in the Global War on Terror.
