    Event Description:
    The participants of this session will learn through case studies how compounding can offer various unique dosage forms to meet individual client needs.  We will look at any current trends in therapeutic treatments using compounding as an option.  Also update participants on laws regarding the use of compounding in their practice.  And finally how to select a compounding pharmacy.
     
    Objectives:
    ·         Discuss unique dosage forms available to meet the needs of a variety
     of species.
    ·         Discuss through case studies how unique dosage forms have been
                used in a variety of species.
    ·         Discuss innovative ways to solve medication compliance issues.
    ·         Provide information on the laws governing veterinarians prescribing
                of compounds.
    ·         Provide background information to help identify quality
                compounding pharmacies.
